5. ART LINKS, international art symposium:

Slovenian-Serbian artists exchange, part 1

(KCNS, SULUV, Foundation 2021, DLUL)

The first part of the fifth international symposium ART LINKS will be held in May 2019 in Novi Sad, organized by the Cultural Center Novi Sad, the Association of Visual Artists of Vojvodina – SULUV, the Foundation »Novi Sad 2021« and the Association of Visual Artists of Ljubljana – DLUL.

The program includes three exhibitions in three galleries, as well as cooperation of various cultural subjects. During the last ten days of May, people of Novi Sad will have the opportunity to see the works of twelve Slovenian authors of different generations. From May 20 until May 31, at the Gallery “Mali likovni salon” of Cultural Center of Novi Sad, works of Milena Gregorčič will be shown on the solo exhibition, while the next day, on May 21, at the Club “Tribina mladih”, an exhibition of ten Slovenian authors from different generations will be opened:  Boris Beja,  Petra Varl, Boris Gaberščik, Mojca Zlokarnik, Nina Koželj, Ivo Mršnik, Nataša Segulin, Zora Stančič, Črtomir Frelih and Arven Šakti Kralj Szomi. Both exhibitions will be open to visitors by May 31st.

Parallel with the preparations and realization of these two exhibitions, Slovenian artist Aleksandra Saška Gruden will be the guest of the Association of Artists of Vojvodina (SULUV) from 1st to 31st May in the framework of the residential project “Art Body Art“, realized in cooperation with the Foundation »Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture«. This Slovenian artist, whose works and performances we had the opportunity to see in Novi Sad in MLS a year ago, will be exhibited at the end of the month at the SULUV gallery (May 27-31), which will be realized during his stay in Novi Sad.

This time again, ART LINKS will be organized on the basis of reciprocity, and next year, twelve artists from Novi Sad will present their works in the galleries of Ljubljana.

5. ART LINKS, međunarodna umetnički simpozijum: Novi Sad-Ljubljana

Prvi deo petog međunarodnog simpozijuma ART LINKS održaće se tokom maja 2019. godine u Novom Sadu u organizaciji Kulturnog centra Novi Sad, Udruženja likovnih umetnika Vojvodine – SULUV, Fondacija “Novi Sad 2021” i ljubljanskog udruženja likovnih umetnika – DLUL.

Program obuhvata tri izložbe u tri galerijska prostora, video prezentaciju i performans, kao i saradnju različitih kulturnih subjekata. Tokom poslednjih desetak dana maja, Novosađani će imati priliku da vide radove dvanaest slovenačkih autora različitih generacija. Od 20. do 31. maja, u Malom likovnom salonu na samostalnoj izložbi će biti prikazani radovi Milene Gregorčič, dok će dan kasnije, 21. maja u Klubu Tribina Mladih biti otvorena izložba deset slovenačkih autora različitih generacija:  Boris Beja,  Petra Varl, Boris Gaberščik, Mojca Zlokarnik, Nina Koželj, Ivo Mršnik, Nataša Segulin, Zora Stančič, Črtomir Frelih i Arven Šakti Kralj Szomi. Obe izložbe biće otvorene za posetioce do 31. maja

Paralelno sa pripremama i realizacijom dve pomenute  izložbe, od 1. do 31. maja u Novom Sadu boraviće i slovenačka umetnica Aleksandra Saška Gruden kao gost Udruženja likovnih umetnika Vojvodine u okviru rezidencijalnog projekta »Art Body Art«, koji SULUV ostvaruje u saradnji sa Fondacijom “Novi Sad 2021 – Evropska prestonica kulture”. Ova umetnica, čije radove i performans smo imali prilike da vidimo u novosadskom MLS pre godinu dana, prikazaće svoje video radove i dokumentaciju sa prethodnih performansa u KS Svilara, 24. maja, dok će na samom kraju meseca, u galeriji SULUV (27-31. maj) prirediti izložbu radova, realizovanih tokom rezidencijalnog boravka u Novom Sadu.

I ovaj put ART LINKS se organizuje na na bazi reciprociteta, te će u narednoj godini dvanaest novosadskih umetnika predstaviti svoje radove u ljubljanskim galerijama.
